Starting with an early 6:30 AM departure, the day includes a 3-hour drive through Kakadu’s lush landscapes, followed by a peaceful morning tea at a Wetlands Billabong, where you’ll enjoy birdwatching and the serene environment. After visiting the impressive Magnetic Termite Mounds, you’ll embark on a 2.5-hour fishing tour at Yellow Water River, where you’ll try to catch the famous barramundi amidst the region’s rich wildlife. The day concludes with a delicious lunch at a local lodge, featuring seasonal regional dishes, before heading back to Darwin with memories of an unforgettable day in Kakadu.
