This small, privately owned company has just one reliable, experienced guide and one beautiful 21-seater bus with 360 degree views.
The guide is an Alice Springs local with years of experience guiding for several different companies in the Red Centre. Her tours are personal, fun, affordable and always unique. With a very relaxed, informative and cozy style of guiding, she has learned from each company what suits her, what makes guests happy, and what she doesn't wish to do on her tours, which includes rushing!
Red Earth Roaming explores the spectacular East and West MacDonnell Ranges, and ventures to Uluru, Kata Tjuta and King's Canyon on request for private charters. With excellent local knowledge they can design any kind of trip to suit all needs.
Starting in April and ending in October, their East Macs Adventure day tour runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and private tours can be organised at any time of the year. They cater for groups of up to 21 guests for charters, and small groups of up to 14 for day tours, finding anything higher than that too impersonal.
Trips are filled with all kinds of information about nature, the environment and the Indigenous history of Central Australia. Always happy, always caring and always trying to teach people about the importance of respecting our beautiful planet.
