The walls of the Burrungkuy | Nourlangie rock art site, in World Heritage-listed #KakaduNationalPark, have served as a shelter and canvas for thousands of years. The paintings are a window to a rich spiritual tradition, held by the Bininj/Mungguy, and can be viewed along the 1.5 kilometre loop walk. Home to Aboriginal people for more than 65,000 years, Kakadu is a living cultural landscape. Located deep in @seekakadu, Burrungkuy | Nourlangie is about halfway between Jabiru and Cooinda. So you might not be able to go on an African safari right now... but you can visit Bamurru Plains, a @wildbushluxury safari lodge, which has exclusive access to 300 km of floodplains and savannah woodland on the edge of #KakaduNationalPark.
