Nitmiluk 3 Gorge Tour
Feel the adrenaline rush of flying over the iconic Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge and experience its sheer beauty from above. This is an amazing perspective shift if you've seen the gorge on the water by boat.
Taking off from the Nitmiluk Gorge helipad you will fly past the Nitmiluk Visitors Information Centre and camp grounds before entering the mouth of the mighty Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge. Once over the Gorge we will take you on a birds eye experience over Jedda’s Rock, Butterfly Gorge and Lillypond before turning homeward above the third Gorge.

Nitmiluk 8 Gorge Tour

Prepare to have your senses awakened as we lift from the Nitmiluk Gorge helipad and first fly past the Nitmiluk Visitor Information Centre and campgrounds before climbing over the mouth and entering the majestic Katherine Gorge. The sheer magnitude of this ancient formation will stay with you forever. There really is no better way to see it than from above.

Nitmiluk 13 Gorge Tour
Dare to break free from the ordinary and let your spirit soar above the ancient wonders of Nitmiluk National Park. Discover each of the 13 gorges that make up the entirety of this remarkable geographical spectacle.
As we venture deeper into Nitmiluk National Park you’ll discover all 13 deep sandstone gorges that have been carved out by the Katherine River. Just like our shorter tours we’ll takeoff from the Nitmiluk Gorge Helipad and climb past the Nitmiluk Visitor Information Centre and boat ramp where the boat tours depart.
Once over the Gorge mouth we will track the entire 17 Kms as you experience a visual spectacle of nature that unfolds before your eyes of ancient sandstone cliffs and inviting rock pools. The following is just a few of the sights you will see from our flight path:

Nitmiluk 13 Gorge + 17 Mile Valley Tour
Unleash your sense of adventure, feel the wind on your face and embark on an exhilarating journey through the vast expanse of Nitmiluk National Park. See the Entire Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge before then exploring 17 Mile Valley.
This longer flight starts by flying the entire 17kms of sandstone gorges that make up the breathtaking Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge. Once exiting the mouth of the gorge we’ll venture further into the untamed wilderness of Nitmiluk National Parks and fly along the eastern escarpment of 17 Mile Valley. Here we’ll track the Jatbula trail and visit the campsites alongside crystal clear spring feed rock pools and cascades. These remarkably pristine waterfalls flow year round so you won’t miss out if you’re visiting during the dry season (May – August).

Nitmiluk Heli Art Site Adventure
Experience the majestic Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge tour up to the eighth gorge before landing at a truly special Aboriginal art site. Hear whispers of ancient times on the wind and fully immerse yourself in this magical Aboriginal art site.
This tour is genuinely a once in a lifetime experience. You will fly over the beautiful Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge, up to the thirteen gorge. It is often possible to spot wild brumbies, cattle and buffalo out of the helicopter, so keep your eyes peeled! You will then wind through steep rock walls to come to a landing site with a unique and special feel. Quiet your mind and immerse yourself in the beautiful surrounds. Your pilot will take you on a guided tour of the Aboriginal rock art which is displayed on five different rock faces. There is a feeling of awe and genuine wonder at visiting such a precious, ancient site.
