Davidson's Arnhemland Safaris is located on an exclusive lease of 700 kilometre square of pristine wilderness in north-west Arnhem land.

The traditional owners of the area have given their guides permission to take guests through these sacred areas, a unique opportunity in Australia.

Within a half hours drive from the lodge at Mount Borradaile you can visit rock shelters with stunning rock art galleries and artefacts that span thousands of years. Walk through savannah woodland, the local supermarket and find plenty of local bush tucker. Take a boat trip through the many water channels and open floodplains to see some of the 275 bird species found in the region.

Try your hand at barramundi fishing in the pristine Cooper Creek or take a dip in the natural swimming hole (seasonal) or relax poolside back at the lodge. Walk through the incredible catacombs that display signs of recent occupation and ancient mortuary rites.

Cruise along the billabong to see the sun set over the floodplain and Mt Borradaile light up with magnificent colours as you enjoy a glass of wine and nibbles. Get back to nature, enjoy the wide open spaces and fresh air without any crowds.
