Cox Country Club is an outback community supported bar and restaurant at Wagait Beach. Meet friendly locals over cold beer and Aussie pub food. Seafood, meat and vegetarian options available. Take a stroll and watch the sun set over Wagait Beach and return for dinner and a free lift home to your accommodation or to the jetty.
Every 2nd Thursday, guests can join in the fun with the popular Bar Bingo. Other nights feature regular Live Music, Pool Comps and Darts Nights. Meat Tray raffles every Friday. All day dining and live music every Sunday. Check website and Facebook page for latest events.
There is also a Car Boot sale on the first Sunday of every month, and High Tea special on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
The Cox Country Club is also home to the annual Mandorah Ukulele Folk Festival (MUFF) in the last weekend of June. All national holidays are usually marked with a special event including Christmas, the Melbourne Cup and ANZAC Day.
