カカドゥで最も有名な湿地であるイエロー ウォーター ビラボンは、サウス アリゲーター川の支流であるジム ジム クリークの端に位置しています。
カカドゥ最大のこの川系には、河道、氾濫原、背水の湿地などの広大な湿地が含まれています。
野生動物 - オーストラリアの鳥類の約 3 分の 1 がカカドゥ国立公園に生息しており、少なくとも 60 種が湿地で見られます。最も多いのは笛吹き鴨とカササギガンです。
