Noonamah Frog Races and Melbourne Cup Day

The event is informal but competitive, with the spectators often as animated as the frogs themselves. There's plenty of friendly banter, playful cheering, and, of course, bets made on which frog will win the race. Oh and lets not forget The World Famous Melbourne Cup will be televised live.

Get dressed up as we will have best dressed competition and live music with Camp Dog.

One of the most important aspects of the Noonamah Frog Races is its charitable mission. Over the years, the event has become a fundraiser for local causes, with proceeds going to various charities and community projects. The tavern auctions of the green tree frogs to the highest bidder which is then followed by the legendary Frog Race itself. with the funds split between Variety NT and CareFlight and of course the owners of the winning frogs.
